What is the difference between aluminized film and aluminum foil film?
Aluminized film is a film such as PP, PET, etc. formed by vacuum evaporation of aluminum layer; aluminum foil film is a film composed of aluminum foil and plastic film. The aluminum plated layer is very thin, with a thickness of 300-400 angstroms, and aluminum foil is 0.01 mm or so.
How to distinguish aluminum foil film and metallized film?
1. First, look, second, feel, third, fold, fourth, twist, 5, scrape, 6, burn... to help you identify whether the plastic composite packaging is made of aluminum foil or aluminized film...
2. Viewing: The brightness of the aluminum layer of the packaging is not as bright as that of the aluminized film, that is, the packaging made of aluminum foil is not as bright as the packaging made of aluminized film. The aluminum layer of aluminum foil is thick, so it has strong light-shielding properties. The extremely thin aluminum-plated layer has poor light-shielding properties, so those that can transmit strong light use aluminum-plated films... On the contrary, those with poor light transmittance use aluminum foil... . Because the aluminum-plated film is brighter, the reflectivity of aluminum foil is not as good as that of aluminum-plated film, but the refraction and shielding properties of aluminum foil are better than that of aluminum-plated film. Aluminum foil packaging is silver white or silver gray, and aluminized film packaging is silver yellow or silver black.
3. Feel: Aluminum foil packaging feels thick and stiff, harder and heavier, while aluminized film packaging feels lighter and softer than aluminum foil packaging.
4. Folding: Aluminum foil packaging is easy to fold and leave dead marks, but aluminized packaging will not fold into dead marks and will rebound quickly.
5. Twisting: After the aluminum foil packaging is twisted, it is difficult to rebound and the aluminum layer will break. After the aluminized film packaging is twisted, the kink will quickly spread out, and there will be no obvious cracks in the aluminum layer.
6. Knife scraping: The aluminum foil can be scraped off the aluminum shavings with a knife, so the aluminized film will not scrape off the aluminum shavings but will be translucent on the film.
7. Fire: Aluminum foil is not easy to burn with a fire point. The aluminum layer will roll back. After burning, the aluminum foil packaging will leave gray aluminum slag. When aluminized films are burned, different plastic films can burn without leaving any aluminum slag.
What is the difference between aluminum-plastic composite film and aluminum foil composite film?
Aluminum-plastic composite film is divided into two kinds: aluminum-plastic film and aluminum-plated composite film.
Aluminum-plastic film
Folded structure composition
1, PET/ aluminized CPP(lightweight product use structure)
2, PET/AL/PE(10KG or less use structure)
3, PET/AL/CPP(pesticide use structure)
4, PET/AL/NY/PE(repackaging structure)
Aluminized composite film structure
PET aluminum plating +PE
Aluminum foil composite film is the most commonly used composite roll film, usually containing pure aluminum (AL) and aluminum plated (VMPET).
Aluminum foil is made with high... An extremely thin sheet of aluminum formed after repeated calendering, which is an excellent heat conductor and light shield.
Aluminum foil... Above 99.5%.
Vacuum aluminum plating film is a thin film that deposits aluminum vapor onto various base films in a high vacuum state, and the thickness of the aluminum plating layer is generally 350 to 400A.
